What Every Visit Includes
Not a list of optional extras with a price against each one. This is what happens every time, at the quoted price.
If something takes longer than usual one week — growth after heavy rain, mostly — that is absorbed, not invoiced.
The cut
Mown at a height that suits the season rather than as short as the machine goes. Cutting too low is the single most common cause of the thin, weedy lawns people then pay to have reseeded — short grass cannot shade out weeds or hold moisture in August.
Edging and trimming
Hard edges along driveways, walkways and beds, and string trimming around fences, posts, trees and anything the mower cannot reach. This is the difference between a lawn that has been cut and a lawn that looks finished.
Blown off, not left behind
Clippings blown off the driveway, walkway and porch before leaving. You should not be able to tell someone was there except that the lawn looks better.
Someone actually looking at the lawn
Grub damage, a spreading weed patch, a dry corner that needs water — you will hear about it while it is still small. That is the practical advantage of the same person coming every time instead of a rotating crew.
Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Just the Once
All three are normal bookings. You can move between them mid-season without a conversation about contracts, because there are none.

What most lawns want from May through June, when grass grows faster than a fortnight allows. Keeps you inside the one-third rule, so the lawn is never scalped to catch up.
Lowest cost per visit
Bi-weekly
The most common booking overall, and fine for most of the season outside the spring surge. In a wet June a bi-weekly lawn can get away from you — you will be told if it is worth switching for a few weeks.

Before a viewing, before visitors, after a holiday, or because it simply got ahead of you. Two-hour minimum, no obligation to book another, no follow-up sales call.

People search for all of these and mean slightly different things, and the industry is not consistent about it either. Worth being plain about what is on offer here.
The short version: everything in the first two columns, none of the chemical programmes, and grounds maintenance only at a residential scale.
What is included
Cutting, edging, trimming, blow-off, seasonal cleanups, hand weeding, overseeding and patch repair, and the beds if you want them done at the same time.
What is not
Chemical fertiliser and herbicide programmes — the sort sold as four or five visits a year. Cosmetic weed spraying has been illegal on Ontario lawns since 2009 anyway, which is why weeding here is done by hand.
Scale
Residential properties and small commercial ones. This is one person with good equipment, not a company that can put four crews on a business park.
How the Season Actually Runs Here
Lawn maintenance in Peel and Halton is not the same job in May as it is in October. Knowing the shape of it saves money.
April – May
Spring cleanup first, then cutting starts. Growth is at its fastest, so weekly earns its money here more than at any other point.
June – July
Cutting height goes up as the heat arrives. Longer grass shades its own roots and holds moisture, which is what keeps a lawn green through a dry July.
Aug – Sept
Growth slows, then picks up again in September. The best weeks of the year for overseeding and repairing whatever the summer killed.
Oct – Nov
Cuts space out, leaves take over. Ends with a final cut and a fall cleanup before the ground freezes.

Most residential properties land between $45 and $80 a visit for regular cutting, with the lower end on a recurring schedule and the higher end for one-time cuts or bigger lots. Lot size, how much trimming there is around obstacles, and gate access are what move it. Send the address and a photo and you will get a firm number, usually the same day.
Do I have to sign up for the whole season?
No. There is no contract and nothing to cancel. Book weekly through the summer and stop in September if that is what suits, or book once and never again. Roughly half the calls are single visits.
Do you serve Mississauga and Milton as well as Brampton?
Yes — Brampton, Mississauga, Milton and Oakville. Routes run on set days per city, so a regular slot will land on roughly the same day each week rather than at random.
What happens if it rains on my day?
The visit moves, usually by a day. Cutting a soaked lawn tears the grass and leaves ruts and clumps rather than a clean finish, so it is worth the wait. You will hear when it is being moved rather than finding out by nobody turning up.
Do you bag the clippings or leave them?
Left on the lawn by default, because short clippings break down fast and feed the lawn for free. They get bagged when there is enough to smother the grass — after a wet stretch, or on a first cut of an overgrown lawn. Bagged clippings go to the curb for yard-waste collection.
My lawn has got completely out of hand. Will you still take it?
Yes. Knee-high grass is a yard cleanup rather than a normal cut — it takes longer and usually means bagging everything — but it is a large share of the calls and nobody is going to make you feel bad about it. After the reset visit it goes onto a normal schedule at the normal price.
